The ability of the orchestra is unquestionable, as is the quality of Uematsu's compositions. The other renditions include a nine-minute orchestra-led version that retains the motivational vibe of the original. However, the meaningful lyrics and fine musicianship of the backing band create a song that appeals to all. The first is the original version, sung by Faye Wong, backed by the usual soft guitars, drums, and a tight melody.
